CALLING 07

Extremely effective, confident and clever officer who can handle any criminal
puzzle. Familiar in the big world, appealing to women – it’s lieutenant
Borewicz, the most famous policeman of the PRL, television icon of the 70s
and 80s. Calling 07 is an extremely popular Polish crime series, which was pro-
duced by Telewizja Polska. It broadcasted on TVP1 and was divided into five series that appeared on the air between 1976 and 1989. It was directed and CO-written by Krzysztof Szmagier and Bronislaw Cieślak was cast in the lead role.
